چکیده

Recently, large-scale agriculture has led to increasing crop production. To increase productivity in cropping systems, attempts have been made make nano-fertilizers and deliver them the crops by extension of nanotechnology. Hence, might be defined as nanoparticles that may directly assist supplying essential nutrients for productivity. Seed germination is first most susceptible stage plant’s growing phases, so could considered an index evaluate effect newly developed materials such (NPs), providing useful information researchers. In our experiments, tests carried out Petri dishes containing wet filter paper nano-primed seeds. We had biosynthesized seven previous studies including calcinated non-calcinated zinc oxide, zinc, magnesium silver, copper, iron nanoparticles. The these biogenic their counterpart metallic salts acetate, sulfate, silver nitrate, copper (III) chloride was studied on two popularly grown plants, wheat flax, laboratory conditions obtain preliminary future field experiments. Germination percentage, shoot length, root seedlings root–shoot ratio, seedling vigor (SVI), length stress tolerance (SLSI), (RLSI) were calculated second seventh days experiment. According results, response plants metal mainly depend type metal, plant species, concentration NP suspension or salt solution, condition exposure, growth.

Effects of storage duration and temperature of hydro-primed wheat seeds on seed and seedling quality

Quality of seed as a propagating organ and the most valuable input to produce crops is highly important in agriculture. Thus, the objective of this study was to compare the effects of storage temperature (15, 20 and 25 °C) and storage duration (0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 days) of hydro-primed wheat seeds of Koohdasht dry land cultivar on germination and seedling characteristics. The seeds were hydro-prim...

Effect of Pre-soaking Seeds in Polyamines on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Pistacia vera L.cv. Ghazvini.

Pistacia vera L. is a decidious tree. To investigate the influence of soaking seeds in polyamines (PAs) spermine (Spm), spermidine (Spd) and putrescine (Put) on seed germination and enhancing lateral root development of ‘Ghazvini’ pistachio seedling rootstock, the experiment were carried out in petri dishes and plastic bags. Seeds were soaked in PAs( Spd, Spm, and Put) at three concentrations( ...

Effect of Cadmium on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Four Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.) Cultivars

Cadmium (Cd) is extremely toxic metal and reduces plant growth. Therefore, study was conducted to evaluate the effect of various Cd levels 0, 5, 20, 50 and 80 mg L on seed germination and seedling growth of four wheat cultivars (Sehar-06, Fareed-06, Inqlab-91, Chakwal-50). Cadmium showed toxicity at 5 mg L in case of root and shoot growth whereas 20 mg L in case of seed germination and germinat...

The effect of exogenous silicon on seed germination and seedling growth of wheat cultivars under salt stress conditions

ABSTRACT- Seed germination and early seedling growth are critical stages for plants establishment and production, particularly under salinity conditions. Exogenous application of silicon (Si) can enhance germination as well as seedling growth. In this experiment, the effect of priming with Si (0, 0.75, 1.5 and 2.25 mM sodium silicate) on seed germination and seedling growth under NaCl (0, 100 a...
